Yet another great day was had by all the Youth Section together with managers, coaches, parents,mascot, photographer, referees and friends with all funds raised going to St Leonard's Hospice.
A big thank you goes to all who attended to make the day such a success.

As well as presentations of individual and team awards for the 6-12 age groups, the U13's showed off their recently won Yorkshire Cup; the U14's played a touring side from Hitchin, the York RUFC Girls played Castleford RUFC Girls, York RUFC Women played Driffield RUFC Ladies and the York Cavs played a team of 'Dads and Coaches'.
This was just some of the action on show during the day!

With a few more bits still to come in, the total raised so far is around £1,200 for the hospice which is 50% up on last year ! ! ! !

Special mention must be made of Driffield RUFC Ladies team who donated the subs from their last 3 matches as a player has had a family member in the hospice recently . . . I think that says it all.
