Club Captain, Chris Fox, made a very important decision a little while ago to donate a kidney to his sister.
Kati has been struggling from kidney failure for some time - so not only was Chris's decision an important one for him to make, it also will make a massive difference to Kati's life.
The transplant operation took place at St James' Hospital in Leeds on Friday.
The operation was successful and Kati and Chris are now both recovering. I'm not sure how much yesterday's result meant to Kati, but no doubt Chris was well pleased that the 1st XV won and it will no doubt help in the recovery process.

We wish them both a speedy and uneventful recovery and look forward to the future.
