U8s West Park Leeds vs York

Leeds West A team were a little too good for us, particularly at the beginning. After a strong pep talk at half time, the boys really tried hard and things improved a little, especially the tagging, which had been letting us down till then. There was a try from each of Archie, Mark and Oli Z to keep up our spirits. The final result being 10-3.

Leeds West B team were not so good as the A team, but were, of course, fresh. We put in a very creditable performance against them, despite already having given our best against the A team. Archie scored 3 more tries, Toby scored 2, and Curran and Oli Z scored one each. The result was 7-7.

Toby was given man of the match.

Full marks for effort and plenty to learn.
