First game - Team Mark
This was a close fought game on a bright sunny morning, where York were prevented a win, on the last move of the game. Defence on both sides was good and tries from Benedict (2), Louie (2) Olly Z and William S were not enough to see York home. A good performance by all the boys.
Final score York 6 Pocklington 6.
Second game - Team Mark
This was a more open game than the first and although the scoring was higher, defence was still good and there were a number of try saving tags. Tries from Mark (2), Benedict(2), Connor and Louie kept the team in touch, before Pocklington ran in two late tries. Another good performance by all the boys
Final Score York 6 Pocklington 9

First game - Team Tony
With the Boy's well up for a battle following last week's matches against Otley, it seemed initially York were caught napping against a very quick and clever playing Pocklington Team. However with battle lines drawn and York down by a fair number of tries, it didn't take long for York to gather their troops and display some great Rugby in time to pull back some of the initial deficit.
Great tries scored by Issac, Toby(2) and Cormack(2), and fab tagging by Archie, William B
Final Score Pocklington 9 York 5
Second game - Team Tony
This time a determined York come together for a great display of team work. Their work ethic and spirit captured a game which was pretty level pegging the whole way through. In the final few minutes, York seemed to ignite a rocket booster which saw them powering on ahead to win the game at the final whistle. Great display by the boys, and with the range of names on the score sheet showing the scope of how many of the boys were involved in shaping the play
