Volunteer: Dictionary definition - n. 1. one who offers service, joins force etc. of his/her own free will - v. 2. offer oneself or ones's services

York RUFC, like all other rugby clubs, is run by volunteers. Supporters who give time, however small, to help the club achieve it's aims.
As a club wanting to progress from Yorkshire One, it's imperative that we have people in place to make this possible. We need to do different things and we obviously need more help to enable the club move forward.
As someone once said, "If you always do, what you always did, you'll always get, what you always got!"

Currently, off the field the club is run by a committee of eight. We also have the Match Day Managers and a 'select' group that write the match reports. Both groups that could do with help!
At the recent AGM, two additional supporters came forward to offer help. We're also hopeful of some help in recording the history of York RUFC.

But, to take the club forward in line with it's aspirations, we need your help!

Help is needed for such things as a membership secretary,
selling raffle tickets at home games,
social organiser,
fixture secretary,
fundraising,
to name but a few.

If you need more information on what may be involved or you can give some/any time to help the club progress, please contact - Mark Gronnow on 07508 016358 or any committee member.
