New sponsor announced for York Rugby Union Football Club
Ice Cubed Property Finance has been announced as the new main sponsor for York RUFC, with the locally based firm signing a three-year deal.
The company specialises in arranging finance for property and development projects and has worked on some of the largest deals in York including the new Malmaison hotel, the former gasworks site in Heworth, the former Mecca bingo hall and various properties on Coney Street. This has totalled over £170 million of funding in York alone over the past 4 years.
Ice Cubed Property Finance Founder and Managing Director Tom Frank used to play at the rugby club and the company is also a sponsor of York City Knights Rugby League Club and has been involved in various Make it York initiatives.
Tom Frank, Managing Director of Ice Cubed Property Finance commented: “We’re thrilled to be the new main sponsor of the club as it holds very many happy memories for me personally and as a proud York-based company we want to work with and support other York businesses. The club is a key part of the business and social infrastructure in the City.

During the sponsorship, Ice Cubed Property Finance will also bring in its professional partners to get involved with the Club including Blacks Solicitors and Royal Pilgrim Communications.
The company specialises in development finance, short term lending (bridging), commercial mortgage finance for owner occupiers and investors and commercial property finance within Pension schemes, as well as buy to lets mortgages for portfolio landlords and limited companies.
