As we reach the end of 2024 York have had a fantastic season so far sitting joint top of the table only separated by bonus points. We look forward to an equally successful second half of the season and a push to get the gap closed to secure promotion.

During Christmas the Sports Club will be open - check the website for opening hours - and on Boxing Day there will be the usual festive fixture between St Peters Old Boys and York RUFC. Kick Off time tbc.

As we run into the New Year the 1st XV have their first fixture on Sat 4th Jan when we entertain Huddersfield at Clifton Park. The team are eager to avenge the defeat we suffered at their place to keep challenging Scunthorpe. Kick off will be at 3pm.

As usual we will have a pre match lunch. As we will all have had our fill of Turkey and big meals over the festive period this will be in the form of a curry lunch and we will of course have our usual Big Raffle pre match.
