Saturday April 23rd marks the end of the season for York RUFC. Film scriptwriters couldn't have done a better job in pitting York against Otley RUFC as they look to secure the League Championship!
Relegated with 5 games left to play in the Covid-19 affected 2019-20 season from National 2, Otley were rankled by the RFU decision and determined to bounce back. Here we are, in their first campaign in the 'lower reaches' of North Premier, they sit at the top of the table with 23 wins from 25 games, 1035 points scored against only 300 conceded and 111 points in the bag!
Only Preston Grasshoppers (also relegated from National 2 in similar circumstances) can prevent Otley winning the league by York beating Otley and Grasshoppers winning at Northwich. Unlikely, but very possible!
York will be playing in a set of unique shirts which will be auctioned after the game in aid of the Three Bears Foundation.

There will be a big crowd - please ensure that you arrive in time not to miss the kick off and let's not be 'out cheered' and 'out supported' by Otley! The correct admission money would be a great help, although payment can also be made by card. FYI: Adults £8.00, Concessions ( 65+) £6.00. Under 16's free.
