FLY-HALF Paul Williams produced a near-faultless display to boot York RUFC to a 32-15 victory over Sheffield at Clifton Park.
Having kicked off their Yorkshire One campaign with a derby win at Malton & Norton, York underlined their promise with a superb second half demolition of their visitors.
Centre Jack Browning crossed for the opening try on ten minutes and Williams converted, before adding two penalties.
Sheffield hit back with three tries, but crucially failed to add any conversions.
Williams then kicked four penalties in succession to move his side 25-15 ahead.
Centre Sam Potrykus bagged a late try and Williams converted to round off an exceptional individual display.
The fly-half, who was adjudged man of the match, has missed only one goal attempt in the first 160 minutes of the season.
Willem Enslin, Stu Davies and Billy Cakaunitabua also starred for York.
